- India has the second highest number of AIDS victims after South Africa
- Many groups in parts of India see Christianity as a threat to the Indian way of life, resulting in growing persecution for all Christians, especially preachers, evangelists and missionaries.
How We Help
Church planting and Missionary Work - Sathyam Ministries first and foremost goal is church planting, with specific focus on building churches in rural villages.
Seminary - Sathyam Ministries trains and equips men for the evangelism of North India villages. In addition to learning the Word of God, students are actively involved in outreach ministries in order to fully prepare them for the ministry that lies ahead.
Orphanages - Sathyam ministries seeks to provide health care, education, love, and a place in which children will have a change to know the physical and spiritual care of Jesus Christ.
Mission Schools - Sathyam Ministries is committed to providing quality education that is up to India's medium school standards. The quality of education can be easily be seen in the young children's ability to write letters and basic words in both English and Hindi and to add and subtract numbers.
Free Wheelchair Ministry - In 2003 Sathyam ministry partnered with Free Wheelchair Mission of California which provides wheelchairs to disabled poor in India. Sathyam ministry has been able to distribute more than a 1,000 wheelchairs to the poor.
Disaster Relief -
The whole world was shocked on December 26,2004 when the Tsunami waves hit different countries of the world. In India itself more than 70,000 people died. Millions were injured. Thousands became homeless and jobless. Contagious disease like cholera, plague and malaria are spreading. Our relief team went to these areas with food, medicine and clothes. Three trucks loaded with food, medicine and clothes rushed to the coastal villages of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
